Within a few weeks of your termination in our system you will receive a packet from Bank of Oklahoma that will list your options for the funds in your 401k. It’s very important that you keep your address and phone number updated with us as long as you have funds with BOK. BOK will only help you if they can verify your current address and phone number which can only be updated by WEC. Please call the HR Helpline at 432.571.8471 to make changes.

Your health plan coverage terminates at the end of the month of your last day worked. You can obtain a Certificate of Credible Coverage by logging into the BCBSTX Employee site or by calling BCBSTX at the above number.

You can continue to use any funds in your HSA until they are exhausted. If you enroll in another HSA program you can rollover your funds with Bank of America into your new account. Get with your new HSA vendor to begin the rollover process.

You will have 90 days to use any funds in your Health or Dependent Care FSA after your employment ends. After that point all leftover funds will be forfeited.
COBRA - HealthEquity - 877.722.2667
Within 30 days of terminating with WEC you will receive a packet from HealthEquity that will notify you of your options to keep your medical, dental and vision coverage under COBRA. If you do choose to pick up COBRA, your first day of coverage will be the day after your coverage with WEC ended. The rates for health plans under COBRA will include the amount WEC pays as well as a 2% administrative fee our vendor charges. The amount you see in the paperwork will be a monthly rate which differs from the biweekly rate you paid.

Critical Illness/Hospital Insurance/Accident Insurance - Unum - 866.220.8460
You will have 90 days after your termination to call Unum to notify them that you want to port any of the Unum benefits you were enrolled in. They will send you a packet to complete and return to them to begin the porting process. You can click on the links below to see the instructions on porting these plans. The amounts you pay for this coverage will not change but will be listed as a monthly amount.

You will receive a packet from New York Life once you terminate that will give you instructions on porting any of the life insurance plans you had with WEC. The rates for ported life insurance coverage will be more than what you paid while under WEC group coverage.
